Folk Art

Each object carries a history, weathered by the elements and reshaped through my hands, becoming part of a broader dialogue on our collective responsibility to the natural world.

This body of work investigates the interwoven pathways between our internal and external landscapes, delving into notions of fragility, healing, maladaptation, and resilience.

I assemble pieces using materials like fishing floats, plastic packaging, microplastics, wire, and beads. These relics of the marine economy reflect the tensions between exploitation and care, loss and regeneration.
